Saturday consisted of trout fishing on the lake opening morning, brook trout fishing on a blue ribbon stream, pike fishing on another lake, shooting at the gun range and a photo safari in the outback. Mitch scored the tri-fecta for the day with a brown, brook and a pike.

We did about thirty miles of two track at dusk looking for game to shoot. I really enjoyed teaching Mitch about photography, and talking with him about things like shutter speed, aperture, ISO, lighting, subject, composition, etc. He's off to a great start, and it's so great to see him take to such a creative hobby at such a young age.
We rode in the back of the pick up and shot elk, deer, partridge, fox, porcupine and the sunset together. We laughed as we shot pictures of rocks and stalked turkeys in the prone position across fields only to realize it was a stump.
I look forward to sharing this hobby with him for a long time to come, and Bryan's property is a great place to explore the outdoors through a rod or a gun or a lens.
