2009 International Motorcycle Show

A great way to kick off the year, I always want five new bikes coming out of this show. Highlights for me this year were the new Harley V Rod for raw torque, Yamaha FJR 1300 for sport touring across the country, the Desmosedici for MotoGP performance in a street bike and everything on display by Roland Sands (especially anything with Ape Hangers).

Spent time with so many good friends this year at the show, highlights were photographing bikes with Keet, seeing Ric in from St Louis, Tim and Arien always a show tradition and taking in the show more thoroughly than necessary with Mike. Today I realized I have so many friends that ride, it's just such a rich community of good people with endless opportunities for rides and building great relationships with others.

Goal for this year is to foster some new relationships and get in some longer overnight rides to see new sites.
