This has been an interesting summer.
Last week I purchased Kiteboarding gear. Over the weekend Susan and I were able to visit with new friends Mike & Elaine. They were kind enough to have us over to their lake house and serve us a wonderful meal with the warmest of hospitality. We had wonderful conversation and truly feel as though new friends were made this weekend.
After our visit with Mike and Elaine, Susan and I continued onto to Toledo to see the Black Keys in Concert. Susan really enjoyed the concert. Susan and I had our first date 19 years ago this summer at a Toledo concert. The black Keys always put on a great show, lots of energy, with plenty of hard driving, straight ahead blues\rock songs. This was the third time I've seen them and not the last.
This morning I received word that the GM project is back on, after three months of 'proposal writing', or sitting in a conference room with a team of highly skilled technical professionals waiting for GM to make up their mind.
If the weather holds, I'll be travelling up to Tawas this weekend to receive more kiteboard training.
There's still plenty of summer left and lots of stuff yet to do.
