Corvette Racing

The Compuware Corvettes were in the lobby earlier this week and drew quite a crowd. As I was pulling out of the parking structure after work, I almost had a head on collision with this car as they were rolling it out of the building and the car got away from them down the curb.
From the American Lemans Series website:

The most successful team in the history of the American Le Mans Series, Corvette Racing looks to further enhance its endurance racing legacy in 2008. The two-car factory effort will lead a pioneering effort by campaigning on cellulosic E85 as it enhances the Series’ platform of alternative fuels. The winner of the last seven GT1 championships, Corvette Racing has posted a record 61 class wins, 44 1-2 team finishes and swept all 12 rounds in the 2007 season. Corvette Racing’s stable of drivers have excelled on the international sports car racing stage with a combined 13 American Le Mans Series championships, 17 Le Mans victories and 22 class triumphs at Sebring. Working in conjunction with GM Racing engineers, Pratt & Miller is responsible for construction, testing, development and trackside support for Corvette Racing.
